Jan Honig is director, Smart Cities Business Development, for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region for CommScope. Over the last 7 years, together with his Benelux team, Jan was responsible for all sales activities at the client, business partner and consultant level in the enterprise business. After working for Emtelle in the Netherlands in the FTTH field for the last 10 years, Jan returned to CommScope, where he previously worked for 12 years, in various roles with various responsibilities throughout Europe. Jan studied Electronics in Amsterdam and has a bachelor degree in Technical Computer Science. Following his study, Jan worked with NCR, AT&T, Lucent and Emtelle where he was responsible for Sales, Business Development and Product Management.
