Features and Benefits

The FOSC 100 closure is a single-ended, environmentally sealed enclosure for fiber management in the outside plant network. Base-to-dome seals on FOSC 100 are mechanical for ease of installation and re-entry. Cable seals feature a new heatshrink sleeve and hot melt adhesive system that is installed with a hot-air gun.

Key features of the FOSC 100 closures:

Single-ended design
Base and dome sealed with a clamp and O-ring system
Accessories for pole mounting or wall fixing
FOSC splice trays hinged for access to any splice without disturbing other trays
Compatible with most common cable types: e.g. loose tube, central core, slotted core, ribbon fiber
Closure can be used in aerial, pedestal and underground (up to 5 meters waterhead) environments
