As networks expand further from the central office, more active and passive distribution cabinets are needed at the edge of the OSP network. These large street cabinets can be visibly obtrusive. While some can be integrated into larger utility structures such as cell tower base stations or power sub-stations, most must be deployed as standalone units, subject to the local land use requirements and approval processes. For operators needing to accelerate the turnup of new customers any delay is costly.

Extend your R-OLT reach and options
AIO cabinets combine outdoor wireless cabinet elements with our well-known FDH3000 passive cabinets. The result is a single, compact active/passive cabinet that immediately extends the reach and capacity of your R-OLT layer expanding your cabinet site or location options. ​

The unique design of the AIO cabinet provides the density to support most edge-of-network needs. One cabinet gives you an additional 20km of R-OLT reach and 100km of backhaul, while enabling you to connect additional customers without requiring another Central Office or Hut.

With dimensions of 48”H x 48”W x 28”D, the AIO cabinet's compact footprint and low profile optimize deployment flexibility, allowing placement in right-of-way locations such as intersections and roadside access points. By consolidating functionality into a single unit, operators can achieve substantial cost efficiencies: only one vault or pad mount is required, reducing material and labor expenses associated with cabling, trenching, boring, and splice management typically necessary with multiple discrete cabinets. Additionally, the fiber optic cabinet is fully compliant with GR-487-CORE and GR-3125 standards, ensuring reliable performance in challenging environments.
